Aidan Mather is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Safety, Simulation, and Advanced Learning Technologies. She is developing mixed-reality simulators for ultrasound-guided thyroid interventions, providing procedural training tools intended to improve medical education and, ultimately, patient outcomes. Guided by empathy and advocacy—values informed by her personal, professional, and academic experiences—Aidan seeks to integrate engineering, medicine, and policy to advance transparent, patient-focused healthcare.
